The Return of Royalty: Clipse Drop New Single and Tease May 30th Album Release
After more than a decade of silence, Clipse—the iconic duo of Pusha T and No Malice—are officially back. Their comeback was teased during Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton show, but it’s now confirmed: the first Clipse album since 2009 is dropping on May 30th.
And to set the stage, they’ve just released a brand-new single that feels like a time warp and a fresh start all at once.

From VA to Worldwide: A Brief History of Clipse
Raised in Virginia Beach, Clipse exploded into the early 2000s with 2002’s Lord Willin’—the album that gave us Grindin’, When the Last Time, and their signature Neptunes-backed sound. Their follow-up, Hell Hath No Fury (2006), remains one of the most celebrated street rap albums of all time.
By 2009’s Til the Casket Drops, the duo had cemented their legacy. But shortly after, they stepped away—Pusha T went solo, and No Malice shifted focus. For over a decade, fans waited.
What to Expect on May 30th
While we don’t have the full tracklist yet, the new single (title TBA) brings it all back: sharp lyricism, premium production (likely Pharrell again), and the kind of chemistry only Clipse can create.
This isn’t just nostalgia—it’s a new chapter. If Hell Hath No Fury was the storm, this might be the calm after—or maybe something even colder.
Why It Matters
This comeback lands in a golden age of legacy acts dropping heat: Nas is on a tear, Black Star returned, and Ghostface has more on deck. Clipse’s return on May 30th feels both timely and essential.
